Speaker Bio
James Ferrer is a nuclear physicist, serial entrepreneur, and one of the few AI practitioners who has actually run a factory on software. He built three technology companies, shipping products to 79 countries and running a full manufacturing facility through custom software before AI agents existed as a category.
He is the founder of Express AI, an AI operations firm that deploys AI agent systems for businesses worldwide. He specializes in OpenClaw and NVIDIA NemoClaw — the infrastructure layer that turns AI models into AI employees that do real work inside real businesses.
His background spans ERP implementation, ISO 9001 quality management, supply chain operations, and enterprise software. He has been deploying AI agents in production since the technology was buildable, not just theoretically interesting.
James speaks from experience that most AI speakers cannot claim: he has made the mistakes, solved the problems, and has the production deployments to prove it.
